Amtrak on Friday restored full service on the Coast Starlight, which runs from Los Angeles to Seattle. Record-breaking storms had disrupted service on the northern end since Dec. 28. . . . British Airways on Monday will begin flying nonstop to Zagreb, Croatia, from London’s Gatwick airport every day except Saturday. Round-trip fares start at $458. . . . The body of Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin will be off display in Moscow from Jan. 27 to March 24 so that embalmers can rehydrate the body. . . It’s official: More than two-thirds of the time, delays and re-routings of New York subways are either not announced on board or the message is useless, garbled or inaudible, says the Straphangers Campaign, a lobbying group that monitored 2,420 subway trips.
