Tarkanian Loses in UNLV Return

LAS VEGAS — Jerry Tarkanian returned to town Monday night and came away a loser.
The former Nevada Las Vegas coach watched the Runnin’ Rebels post a 78-64 victory over his current team, Fresno State, at Thomas and Mack Center.
UNLV, 16-7 overall and 8-4 in the Western Athletic Conference, got 15 points and 21 rebounds from Warren Rosegreen. Fresno State is 16-10 and 8-4.
