Re James G. Shaw’s Feb. 19 letter: Shaw asserts that Anthony Lake is not qualified to serve as head of the CIA because he played political games, participated in subterfuge and concealed information from oversight. Am I missing something? It strikes me that if what Shaw says is accurate, Lake is utterly suited to lead the CIA. He will fit right in.
