Re “The Greening of Will Rogers State Park,” Feb. 23:
Your article states, “Horse enthusiasts as well as hikers and cyclists enjoy the well-marked trails.” But since state park officials opened the Rogers Ridge Trail to cyclists last year, other park visitors can no longer fully enjoy Will Rogers State Park.
Mountain bikes are inundating the park and have largely succeeded in driving people off the trails. Will Rogers would have wanted the trails for people--not machines.
