Daigneault Loses Appeal

Commissioner Gary Bettman upheld the 10-game suspension of defenseman J.J. Daigneault for abuse of official, but the justification for Bettman’s decision won’t be announced until today.
“I’m a little bit frustrated, but I knew I wouldn’t win it,” said Daigneault, who already has served three games for hitting referee Don Koharski with his stick Feb. 23 against Vancouver.
