Thirty-one other coaches lost first-round games in the NCAA tournament, but it takes one like Indiana’s Bob Knight to generate rumors of impending shake-ups after such an early exit.
The school issued a statement Monday trying to quash reports that Knight was kicking three players off the squad for unknown reasons.
