What Are You Drinking?

“Chenin Blanc is one of those grapes nobody thinks about, but the French make some really great wines from it, and they’re among my favorite things to drink. I recently had a ‘Clos du Papillon’ ‘95 from Domaine des Baumard. It’s a Savennieres from the Loire, it’s 100% Chenin Blanc and it’s dry and aromatic and crisp, just a gorgeous bottle of wine.”
