First American Title Buys Utah Company

SANTA ANA — First American Title Insurance Co. said Thursday it has acquired Utah-based Hillam Title Agency, increasing the Santa Ana company’s title and escrow service in that state. Financial terms were not disclosed. Hillam’s 15 employees will remain with the company.
First American is a subsidiary of First American Financial Corp.
