Regency Health Services Net Up 19% as Revenue Jumps

TUSTIN — Regency Health Services Inc., a provider of rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, posted a 19% increase in net income for the first quarter, while revenue increased 24%.
The company said net income totaled $3.2 million, or 20 cents a share, up from $2.7 million, or 16 cents, a share, for the same period last year. Revenue rose to $159.4 million from $129 million. The company said revenue was bolstered by the acquisition in January of four acute rehabilitation hospitals, six neurological care centers and 10 outpatient clinics.
