Is This the Last Word on Zoeller and Woods?

Regarding Fuzzy and Tiger:
I’m a white man and I too am proud of my parents and grandparents. Yet my kind has long been the subject of racial jests and innuendo running the gamut from A to Z. From racist pig to politically incorrect. Yet I’ve tried to keep it all in perspective with a good sense of humor. I think Fuzzy and Tiger handled their situation like the gentlemen they are. Why can’t the rest of us do the same?

This will come as a huge revelation to some, but everyone who tells a joke with racial components is not a racist, and not all racists tell jokes with racial components. And if more people would get a life, we wouldn’t care very much about the former.

Tiger Woods is not only an exceptional athlete, he appears to be a very mature young man. I hope he also has a well-developed sense of humor, because he and we will all need it to live in this mixed-up world.

K-mart will stop selling Fuzzy Zoeller’s clubs--after their stock is gone. Seems to be more a case of principal than principle.
