Urbana M. Vasquez; Longtime County Resident

Longtime Ventura County resident Urbana M. Vasquez of Oxnard died Saturday in a local hospital. She was 83.
Vasquez was born May 25, 1913, in San Antonio, Texas, and lived in Ventura County for 35 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oxnard Moose Lodge Women of the Moose.
Vasquez is survived by sons Peter of Oxnard and Bob of Oak View; daughters Rosemarie Putzier of Camp Scheideck, Calif., and Ora Villa of Oxnard; a brother, Louie Montemayor of Los Angeles; a sister, Beatrice Morales of Arvin; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesdayfrom 3 to 9 p.m. at James A. Reardon Mortuary, Oxnard. Services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Oxnard.
Burial will be in Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard.
Arrangements are under the direction of James A. Reardon Mortuary, Oxnard.
