* I was incensed by Deidre Gibson Seaman’s (April 20 Letters) insulting label of “part-time parent” and her judgmental comparison of her idealized day and that of a working parent (read: mother).
There is no such thing as a part-time parent; parenting is a full-time position, whether one is also employed outside the home. We must presume her chosen avocation of stay-at-home mother is financed by a hard-working husband.
