Rusli Tumbles in Badminton Finals

Kevin Han of Colorado Springs defeated Ignatius Rusli of Anaheim Hills, 15-2, 15-1, in the men’s open final of the Orange County Badminton Club International Championships Sunday in Orange.
Rusli also reached the final in men’s doubles of the $10,000 tournament with partner Ben Lee of San Jose. Han and Wu Chibing of New York won, 17-14, 15-7.
In women’s singles, Cindy Shi of Colorado Springs beat Joanne Muggeridge of England, 11-2, 5-11, 11-4. Shi and partner Chibing beat Andy Chong of Miami Lakes, Fla., and Yeping Tang of Gaithersburg, Md., 15-11, 15-10, in mixed doubles.
Muggeridge and Felicity Gallup, also of England, defeated Shi and Tang in the women’s doubles final, 15-11, 15-7.
