Park District to Host Special Dance

The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District will host a dance for physically and mentally challenged people Friday at the Houghton Neighborhood Park.
The dance is free for those in the park district’s Alternative Recreation Program. The event will be chaperoned by people trained to work with those who have special needs.
Refreshments and plenty of deejay-hosted tunes will highlight the evening, which runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The center is located at 4333 Township Ave.
