THOUSAND OAKS — Authorities plan to seek a drunk-driving charge against a Westlake Village man who lost control of his vehicle, which rolled 200 feet down an embankment near Pacific Coast Highway on Friday.
Peter Vincelli, 48, was taken to Columbia Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks after the 11:37 a.m. single-vehicle accident, which occurred off Cotharin Road in an unincorporated area between Thousand Oaks and Malibu, authorities said.
A nursing supervisor at the hospital said Vincelli was treated for minor head injuries and released.
California Highway Patrol Officer Dave Cockrill said his office will seek a charge of driving while intoxicated with the Ventura County district attorney’s office.
No one else was in Vincelli’s 1985 Ford van, Cockrill said.
