Longtime City Resident Named Chamber Chief

Longtime Garden Grove resident Connie Margolin has been selected the new president and chief executive officer of the city’s Chamber of Commerce and will take office this week.
Margolin, former executive director of the Bellflower Chamber of Commerce, recently graduated from UCLA’s Institute of Organizational Management, a program designed for chamber executives.
In the 24 years Margolin has lived in Garden Grove, she has been involved with the Strawberry Festival, the Assistance League and the Lamplighters Guild. She was named Woman of the Year in 1990.
