SCC’s Gonzalez Is 2nd in 200 at GSAC Meet

Southern California College’s Isis Gonzalez finished second in the 200 meters at the Golden State Athletic Conference women’s track and field championships at Point Loma Nazarene.
Cal Baptist’s Heather Hanchak finished first with a time of 25.54 seconds. Gonzalez finished in 26.38.
Gonzalez also finished third in the 400 in 1:00.11. Teammate Monica Landa finished fifth in the 5,000 (18:20.76).
Point Loma leads the competition after the first day with 94 points. Southern California College (21) is fifth and Concordia is seventh with six points.
The Concordia men’s 3,200 relay team finished third in 8:10.53. Azusa Pacific won the race in 7:53.77.
Point Loma leads the men’s competition with 88 points. Southern California College (13) and Concordia (seven) are seventh and eighth.
