Accentuate the positive. They’re not just song lyrics, but words to live by--if you want to live a longer, low-stress existence. Having a positive attitude means more, though, than just doing positive things. It also means a positive lifestyle, and balancing work, home, family, health and time for yourself. Here are some things to think about:
* Reach out and let someone touch you, give you feedback and encouragement.
* Love a pet. Taking a few minutes with your pet can remind you just how good things are.
* Get away from it all, and take in a change of scenery. Or, change your routine. If you work indoors, take a walk in the woods; if you work outdoors, go to a museum or to a movie.
