OUTLOOK
Howard replaces Earl Graves and he inherits one of the county’s best quarterbacks in Baughman, who is 17 touchdown passes short of Todd Marinovich’s all-time county record. But Baughman lost his top five receivers, including tight end Sam Baeder, who caught 20 touchdown passes, and his offensive line is suspect. Howard hopes to take some pressure off Baughman, who was heavily blitzed last season, by running the ball more with Somerville. Jenks, a backup quarterback last season, probably will replace Baeder as Baughman’s main target.
