THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports over the weekend:

ANAHEIM

* Garza Avenue: A burglary alarm went off in the 1000 block on Thursday at 8:46 a.m.

CYPRESS

* Moody Street: Police made a warrant arrest in the 8000 block at 9:04 p.m. Wednesday.

DANA POINT

* Brookview: A robbery alarm in the 100 block was triggered at 4:29 p.m. Thursday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Harbor Boulevard: Someone tried to steal a car parked in the 15900 block by releasing the parking brake and rolling it into the street, but couldn’t start it. Reported at 2:37 a.m. Tuesday.

FULLERTON

* East Nutwood Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 2000 block at 8:01 a.m. Tuesday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Olympic Drive: Someone set a bag of trash on fire on a man’s porch in the 9500 block at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday.

IRVINE

* Culver Drive: A man entered and passed a counterfeit payroll check at a Wells Fargo bank in the 14400 block at 1:43 p.m. He had tried to pass a second check in Lake Forest, but fled, leaving his California driver’s license.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Calle Abril: A robbery alarm in the 3000 block was triggered at 7:08 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release reports over the weekend: Brea, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, Lake Forest, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Orange, Placentia, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park, Westminster and Yorba Linda.
