Lying

At first I dismissed as just more partisan foolishness the Republican concerns about the terrible influence of presidential lying on children. Then, however, I thought of the people who were kids when Ike lied about the U-2 flights, and, sure enough, those kids became the arrogant, rude, self-obsessed, money-hungry jerks now zipping around our streets in Beemers with cell phones glued to their ears. Maybe the Republicans are right.
