USC Publishes Directory of Latino Community

LOS ANGELES — A 424-page directory of the Latino community of Los Angeles County has been published by USC.
The directory, edited by Samuel Mark of USC Civic and Community Relations, includes more than 1,300 entries in Spanish and English. It is the ninth edition of a book first published 17 years ago.
Information in the directory includes listings of political, religious and special interest organizations as well as businesses and services such as emergency assistance, housing, hotlines and legal assistance.
Funding is provided by the Consul General of Spain in Los Angeles and the California Community Foundation.
The directory can be purchased for $80 by businesses and individuals and for $40 by schools and nonprofit organizations. Information: (213) 740-5480 or by e-mail at [email protected].
