The Parks and Recreation Department is holding a reading program at the Community Center to help elementary school students improve their reading skills. By incorporating the use of phonics, the program will help students with spelling, vocabulary and reading comprehension, city officials said. The program is held Mondays and Wednesdays, from 4 to 5 p.m., through June 14. Information: (714) 961-7160.
