Keith Cos. to Buy Back 100,000 Common Shares

The Keith Companies Inc., which has seen its stock sag since the company went public in July, said its board has approved a plan for the company to buy back up to 100,000 shares of common stock.
The Costa Mesa company’s stock hit $11.50 a share during its market debut July 13, but slumped to $4.75 earlier this week. The shares closed Wednesday at $5.63, up 25 cents.
Keith, which provides engineering, technical and consulting services, reported 5 million shares outstanding as of Sept. 24.
