Buena Park quarterback Earl Parker completed 14 of 31 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns but had four passes intercepted in a nonleague game at Buena Park.
Two of Parkers’ interceptions came in the second half as the Buena Park (0-2) was driving inside La Mirada territory.
Buena Park’s Chris Miller recovered a fumble midway through the first quarter to set up a 15-yard touchdown pass from Parker to Will Flamenco.
La Mirada tied it, 7-7, when Chris Rudiger scored on a 30-yard run three plays later.
Rudiger scored on runs on 49 and 34 in a span of 2:21 to increase La Mirada’s lead to 28-7. The second touchdown was set up after Parker threw his third interception.
