With Billy Crystal having taken himself out of consideration, the competition to host next year’s Academy Awards show is wide open. Who would you like to see do the job? Whoopi again? Jay Leno? (He couldn’t do worse than Letterman, right?) That box-office champion the Grinch? What about Bill Clinton? His successor should be in office by then.
