This Job Is Not That Easy

As much as I respect Cheryl Miller as an individual, player, coach, and commentator, the quote attributed to her in the Dec. 2 Newswire got me thinking:
“And the grind of basically working 12 months a year for the last four seasons has taken a serious physical and emotional toll on me.”
Having been in the U.S. Air Force for eight years and the civilian job force for 21 years, this working 12 months a year has taken a toll on me. If I said that at work, I’m sure my boss would be willing to extend to me a layoff season.
