* I am very saddened by “Tribe Sends Kids Away to Dry Out” (Dec. 19). My hope is that an agency in this country will look into helping in any way it can--sending videos, films, etc. on the dangers of substance abuse, with the focus on children. The children will have to carry on their tribal traditions and should be motivated to think in that direction. I am part Native American and know how important that is for children.
