In another Serra League game:
Rosary 51, Lakewood St. Joseph’s 26--Maggie Barnett had 15 points and Jen Farner had 11 rebounds and four points for Rosary (17-9, 2-3), which is in third place in league.
In the Academy League:
Connelly 64, Southern California Christian 25--Jamie Poon scored 18 points and Kim Ozawa and Alex Lee had six steals each for Connelly (9-9, 5-4).
In the Century League;
No. 8 Foothill 82, Canyon 44--Kristen Mann had 23 points and seven assists and Chavaughn Brown chipped in 20 points and 16 rebounds to lead host Foothill (16-7, 7-0), which was 22 of 25 from the free-throw line.
Santa Ana Valley 56, Orange 27--Crystal Davis scored 24 points for visiting Santa Ana Valley (16-5, 5-2). Randi Perry had 13 rebounds and seven blocks for Orange.
Villa Park 47, El Modena 34--Kelly Shimizu scored 22 points and Lauren Yaden had 13 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocked shots to lead host Villa Park (13-10, 5-2).
In the Golden West League:
Saddleback 56, Tustin 37--Denise De la Rosa had 14 points and 10 rebounds and Alisa Carrillo had 13 points and 16 rebounds for host Saddleback (13-9, 5-1).
In the Olympic League:
Calvary Chapel 64, Brethren Christian 39--Shayna Fabre had 15 points and Lindsey Richelli had 14 for visiting Calvary Chapel (14-6, 6-1).
Orange Lutheran 50, Cerritos Valley Christian 39--Leanna Holtzclaw had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Nicole Grady had 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead host Orange Lutheran (12-7, 5-2).
In the Orange League:
No. 2 Brea Olinda 97, Anaheim 32--Brea Olinda (17-5, 7-0) made 43 of 65 field goals and had 12 players score at least two points. Chelsea Trotter had 13 points, 12 rebounds and six steals.
Magnolia 48, Savanna 42--Freshman Mariah Mendoza connected on nine three-pointers and scored a school-record 30 points to lead Magnolia (9-14, 4-3).
Magnolia trailed by 12 during the fourth quarter. But Mendoza connected on six three-pointers and scored 21 points to lead the Sentinel comeback.
In the Pacific Coast League:
Costa Mesa 57, University 40--Autumn Smith had 16 points, 11 rebounds and teammate Nancy Hatsushi had eight assists and seven steals for host Costa Mesa (14-9, 4-1).
Estancia 62, Laguna Beach 37--Lauren Cassity scored 29 points for host Estancia (13-9, 4-2).
In the Sea View League:
Irvine 65, Aliso Niguel 51--Kristin Thawley scored 23 points for Irvine (20-3, 6-0). Julia Pederson scored 21 for Aliso Niguel (13-10, 1-4).
Laguna Hills 50, Newport Harbor 16--Megan Aaker scored 19 points for visiting Laguna Hills (12-12, 3-3).
In the Sunset League:
Edison 63, Los Alamitos 42--Michelle Zylstra had 21 points and 11 rebounds as Edison (16-7, 7-0) took a two-game lead over Esperanza.
Marina 65, Fountain Valley 47--Nikki Lee had 20 points and 15 rebounds for Marina (16-7, 4-3) which is tied for third with Huntington Beach in league. Miranda Emde had 19 points for the Vikings, who face Huntington Beach Thursday.
Huntington Beach 50, No. 6 Esperanza 49--Michelle Ito rebounded a missed 18-footer by Amy Sanders with two seconds left and then scored on the put-back at the buzzer to give Huntington Beach (12-10, 4-3) the upset.
Sanders led the Oilers with 24 points.
In a nonleague game:
Westminster 56, Woodbridge 53--Holly Armstrong had 22 points and Diana Hernandez had 19 to lead visiting Westminster (18-5).
