The City Council voted in favor Monday of formally appointing Mayor Tracy Wills Worley and Councilman Thomas Saltarelli to the Marine Corps Air Station Tustin Subcommittee. They will represent the City Council during negotiations with the federal government to transfer the base to the city’s control. They also will represent the council as members of the development evaluation team to assess potential developers. Negotiations are expected to take several months.
