Assemblyman Lou Correa (D--Anaheim) will read to students at Pio Pico Elementary School at 10:30 a.m. today. The visit marks Correa’s 29th reading visit to schools in the Santa Ana Unified School District. During today’s session he will present Principal Judy Magsaysay with a resolution from the assembly that honors her commitment to new reading programs. After Santa Ana designated itself a “Reading City,” Correa was able to help secure $70,000 for the city’s “Reading City Youth and Moms/Newborns Program.”
