They may not be as valuable as Mark McGwire cards, but the first two fourth- and fifth-graders to collect a set of 35 Seal Beach Police Department cards will win two tickets to Disneyland. The Police Department is encouraging youngsters to approach officers to obtain cards as well as visit the Police Department and substations. Also, winners will receive a lunch and department tour with Police Chief Mike Sellers, and an appearance on Seal Beach TV.
The front of the cards feature photos of individual officers, volunteers and groups. On the back, brief bios and department descriptions are given as well as a favorite quote. Information: (562) 799-4100.
