Residents can learn more about the Irvine Unified School District’s budget woes on Wednesday at the first of three information night forums.
Left with the prospect of making more than $4 million in budget cuts after voters rejected a parcel tax in November, district officials said the evening will give people a grasp of the district’s financial problems.
Residents also can give their opinions on proposed cuts at the 7 p.m. meeting at the District Administration Center, 5050 Barranca Parkway.
Forums also are scheduled Jan. 18 at Woodbridge High School and Jan. 25 at Irvine High School. Residents are asked to call (949) 936-5254 to schedule a speaking time at the forums, which will be held from 6:45 to 9:30 p.m.
