The Brea Community Center will host its first Father-Daughter Dance from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 21 at the center, 695 E. Madison Way.

Fathers and daughters can attend for $10 a couple for residents and $15 for nonresidents. The event is open to girls in grades six through nine and includes food, games, dancing and the thrill of watching Dad try to dance. Information: (714) 990-7151.
