The city kicks off Census 2000 today with the opening of a local office on East Chapman Avenue.
Cities that will be operating out of the office include Fullerton, La Habra, Anaheim, Orange, Brea, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Brea Park and Stanton.
Council member Jan Flory, Congressman Ed Royce and state Assemblyman Dick Ackerman will make remarks at the opening and participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
