Various Leisure World clubs will meet with the Golden Rain Foundation Board today to discuss the need for a proposed multipurpose recreation facility near Gate 12 in the community.

Clubs will have 15 minutes to present their cases to the board, said Debby Lamb, recreation director.

Although the multipurpose facility is still in the proposal stage, the presentations will help establish a level of need, Lamb said.

The meeting begins at 1 p.m. and is open to the public.
