Anna Russell scored with two out in the seventh inning when pitcher Sarita Contreras failed to field Kelly Walters’ grounder to give Harvard-Westlake High a 2-1 victory over Alemany in a Mission League game Friday at Valley College.
Russell had tripled with two out for the Wolverines (17-4, 7-0 in league play).
Abby Krall singled in Russell in the fifth inning to tie the score.
Camarillo 14, Oxnard 0--Meredith Nevard (5-1) pitched her fourth no-hitter of the season for the Scorpions (18-7, 10-1) in a Pacific View League game called after five innings at Camarillo.
Calabasas 10, Nordhoff 0--Sara Hall had a solo home run and drove in four runs for Calabasas (16-5, 11-0) in a Frontier League game at Nordhoff.
Burroughs 1, Village Christian 0--Vanessa Menchaca singled in a run in the third and Dani Regan (3-1) pitched a two-hitter for host Burroughs (11-11) in a nonleague game.
