Beach Access

* Recently I sought to visit beaches in south Laguna, in the vicinity of Treasure Island, and was shocked by the lack of access for such a very long stretch--virtually everything to and beyond Aliso Beach.
Furthermore, there appears to be hardly anyplace for citizens to park along more and more of Pacific Coast Highway. Everywhere I looked there was newly painted red curb. Is this is as it’s supposed to be, or are wealthy beach homeowners in concert with a compliant city denying more and more of our beaches to us?
