The fifth annual Classic Car Show is scheduled for June 11 downtown and will feature 250 pre-1975 cars. The event, hosted by the San Clemente Downtown Business Assn., will include refreshments and the live music of the Millertime Boogie Band.
Event coordinator David Anderson said he expects between 8,000 and 10,000 people to attend the event, which takes place on Avenida del Mar from El Camino Real to the Community Center on Calle Seville from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Avenida del Mar will be closed to traffic from 6 a.m. to about 5 p.m. to accommodate the event.
