Santa Ana Unified School District board members tonight will again consider about 100 suggested names for up to 14 new campuses. Board members delayed a decision at their meeting Oct. 10 to allow compilation of last-minute suggestions.
The board also will consider creating an E-Business Academy for at-risk students, with curriculum focusing on business technology; hear an update on school bond projects; select architects for a new high school and expansion of Valley High School; review design plans for a new elementary school at Main Street and Warner Avenue; and consider new textbooks for the district’s intermediate pentathlon program and regional occupational program, and Century High School’s foreign language program.
The board meets for a study session at 2:30 p.m. and reconvenes at 7 p.m. for its regular meeting at district headquarters, 1601 E. Chestnut Ave. Information: (714) 558-5555.
