Adventure Pass

* I live in the mountains above Los Angeles and certainly think that people living in the lower elevations should have every right to come and enjoy the snow. However, after all the excitement of the snowfall and a great day of enjoying this with their families, they leave those of us who live here with their litter. Cups, paper, plastic bags, broken plastic sleds and yes, used diapers. This is their thank you to the mountains for showing them such a good time. Not all those coming to the mountains do this, but as a result of those who do, we have an Adventure Pass (letters, Feb. 12). Even those living here need one to enjoy the mountains. Someone has to pay for the cleanup.
