Voice From Valley

I work in Woodland Hills and, even worse, live in Canoga Park. Thank you for letting us know that Barry Levinson thinks we here in the Valley are benighted peasants who cannot appreciate anything at all subtle (“Levinson at War With DreamWorks Over ‘Piece,’ ” by Patrick Goldstein, Feb. 13).
It is things like this, and the L.A. Arts Festival of several years ago, which had performances everywhere but the Valley, that make us want to secede from L.A. I will be sure to avoid Levinson’s films in the future and I suggest that other Valley residents do the same.
