Police on Wednesday were searching for a man who carjacked a driver in broad daylight at a Thousand Oaks gas station.
Trevor Grant, 20, of Port Hueneme, was preparing to leave the Texaco station at Moorpark Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when a man with a shaved head jumped into his car, threatened him with a gun and forced him to drive to Los Angeles, Sheriff’s Capt. Ken Cozzens said.
The carjacker robbed Grant of his cash, credit cards and checkbook, and ran.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 494-TALK or 385-TALK.
