City Council Candidates to Appear at Arts Forum

The public will have a chance to question City Council candidates tonight on their views concerning the arts at a forum hosted by the San Buenaventura Foundation for the Arts.
“Arts and the Future” will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Holiday Inn along the promenade in Ventura.
About 50 organizations representing the visual and performing arts are co-sponsoring the event. More than 500 people are expected to discuss such topics as public funding for the arts and art’s place in the education system. For more information, visit https://www.venturaarts.org.
