Interfaith Unity Event Planned at Mosque

City leaders will participate in a “United We Stand” interfaith open house at 3 p.m. today at the King Fahd Mosque, 10980 Washington Blvd.
Sheriff Lee Baca will be the keynote speaker, and others will include Rabbi Leonard Beerman of the Leo Baeck Temple, Islamic scholar Nazir Khaja, the Rev. Terry Van Hook of Culver Palms United Methodist Church, the Rev. Richard Gleason of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Shaikh Tajuddin Shuaib of King Fahd Mosque.
