Man Found on Tracks Had Been Hit by Train

A man found dead on railroad tracks near Burbank Airport early Friday had been struck by a train, police said.
Officers found the man, believed to be in his 30s, along the tracks between Vineland and Tujunga avenues in North Hollywood. His name was being withheld until his family could be notified.
Police said they did not know what train hit the man or whether that was the cause of death.
