City Manager to Take Post in Half Moon Bay

Citing a desire to be closer to his extended family, Santa Paula City Manager Peter Cosentini has taken a job as the top administrator in Half Moon Bay.
The coastal town south of San Francisco is less than half the size of Santa Paula, but the job pays about $32,000 more annually. He, his wife Denise and their daughter Briana will move by December.
Cosentini came to Santa Paula from Calistoga nearly four years ago. He said he is most proud of getting the city’s finances in order and establishing a wider growth boundary for the town.
The City Council will meet 6:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 970 Ventura St., to discuss a replacement.
