Jerry Colangelo, Arizona’s managing general partner, said he received a ticket request from a limited partner who promised him, “I won’t yell, I won’t scream, I won’t cause a scene, I’ll remain neutral.”
Said Colangelo, laughing: “I don’t believe any of that for a minute.”
The limited partner?
Billy Crystal, whose stake in the Diamondbacks is estimated at $500,000 but whose heart belongs to the Yankees to the extent that he was celebrating with them after their pennant-clinching victory over Seattle.
