Deal of the Week: Colorado Hotel

The Cliff House @ Pikes Peak, a 55-room luxury hotel in the foothills near Pikes Peak, 10 minutes west of Colorado Springs, Colo., is offering its off-season discounts two weeks early, for stays Oct. 15 to 31. For instance, rooms with published rates of $189 in peak season will go for $129; rooms at the top rate, $399, will go for $249. The rates are subject to availability. The hotel, a sandstone Victorian that dates to 1873 and has counted Teddy Roosevelt and Clark Gable among its guests, was rebuilt after a fire in 1997 and reopened in July 1999.
