Clinton, Dole Team Up for Scholarship Fund

Former President Clinton and former Sen. Bob Dole, onetime political adversaries, are teaming up to help raise $100 million in scholarships for the children and spouses of victims of the terrorist attacks.
Clinton and Dole will announce today that they will be co-chairmen of the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, created by the Indianapolis-based Lumina Foundation for Education. The scholarships will be offered in partnership with the Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation of America.
Lumina has pledged $2 million outright and another $1 million in matching funds to encourage individual donations.
